Artevaris ships handcrafted luxury goods to customers worldwide. We partner with trusted international carriers to ensure your piece arrives safely. Below you will find everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Order Processing & Dispatch
Dispatch takes place depending on the shipping method selected at checkout. Every product page clearly states whether the item is ready to ship or made to order.
- Ready to ship: Dispatched within 1–3 business days of order confirmation
- Made to order: Your artisan begins crafting immediately after your order. Production time ranges from 3 to 21 business days depending on the piece (noted on each product page)
You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed, and a second notification with tracking information as soon as it ships.
Shipping Options
At checkout, you can choose from the available shipping methods for your destination. The final shipping cost and estimated delivery time are displayed at checkout before payment.
- Free Shipping — complimentary standard delivery available on eligible orders. Estimated transit time: 15–20 business days. In the United States, free shipping orders are delivered via USPS.
- Standard Shipping — tracked international delivery. Transit times vary by region (see table below).
- Express Shipping — available at checkout where offered by our carriers.

Transit times begin from the date of shipment, not order date. All times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing or carrier delays.
Package Tracking
All Artevaris orders include full end-to-end tracking. Once your order ships, you will receive:
- An automated email with your tracking number
- A direct link to track your shipment in real time
You can also track your order at any time by logging into your Artevaris account and visiting the Orders section.
Packaging & Protection
Every piece is packaged with care. Fragile and delicate items are wrapped in archival tissue paper and secured with protective materials. Larger pieces arrive in custom-fitted boxes. Our goal is for your item to arrive in exactly the condition it left the artisan’s workshop.
Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
By placing an order, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees that any customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), goods and services taxes (GST), brokerage fees, customs clearance fees, handling fees, and any other governmental or carrier-imposed charges arising from the importation of the purchased goods into the destination country (collectively, the "Import Charges") shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the product listing, checkout page, shipping method description, or order confirmation, all orders are shipped on a duties-and-taxes-unpaid basis, and Import Charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges paid to the Seller.
Where a product listing, shipping method, or checkout process explicitly states that duties and taxes are included in the purchase price or shipping cost (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid), the applicable Import Charges will be paid by the Seller on behalf of the Buyer to the extent specified in such offer.
The Buyer agrees to timely pay all applicable Import Charges required for customs clearance and delivery of the goods. Failure or refusal to pay such charges may result in delays, storage fees, return of the shipment, abandonment, destruction of the goods, or other actions taken by customs authorities or carriers.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, if the Buyer refuses delivery, fails to pay Import Charges, or otherwise causes the shipment to be returned, abandoned, or destroyed, the Seller shall have no obligation to refund any amounts paid for the goods, shipping costs, customs charges, return shipping fees, storage fees, handling fees, or any other costs incurred in connection with the order.
The Seller shall not be liable for any delays, additional costs, penalties, confiscations, or other actions taken by customs authorities or governmental agencies in the destination country.
Shipping Delays
While we work with the most reliable carriers available, occasional delays may occur due to:
- Customs clearance processing
- Peak holiday periods (November–January)
- Weather disruptions or force majeure events
- Incorrect address information provided at checkout
If your shipment appears to be significantly delayed, contact our team and we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
In the rare event that your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. We will open a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
For damaged deliveries, please photograph the package and its contents from all sides before handling the item. This documentation is essential for insurance claims.
