About Our Products

What makes Artevaris products unique?

Every product on Artevaris is genuinely handmade by a skilled artisan. We do not sell mass-produced, factory-made, or machine-assembled goods. Each piece is crafted individually — which means it carries subtle variations in grain, texture, and finish that make it one of a kind. You are not buying a product; you are acquiring a piece of someone's life's work.

How are Artevaris products made?

Our artisans use traditional techniques passed down through generations — hand-carving, hand-stitching, hand-weaving, lost-wax casting, and more. Many pieces take days or weeks to complete. Materials are sourced with care: genuine full-grain leather, solid hardwoods, 925 sterling silver, natural stones, and more. We document each artisan's process so you can understand exactly how your piece was made.

Are all products in stock?

Some products are ready to ship immediately. Others are made to order — crafted specifically for you after purchase. Product pages clearly indicate production time. For made-to-order items, your artisan begins work the moment your order is confirmed.

Will my product look exactly like the photo?

Since every piece is handmade, slight natural variations in color, grain, and texture are to be expected — and are a sign of authenticity. We photograph products accurately and provide detailed descriptions of materials and dimensions. If you have specific questions about a product's appearance, contact us before ordering.

Can I request a custom or personalized piece?

Yes. Many of our artisans accept custom commissions — monogramming, bespoke dimensions, specific materials, or entirely new designs. Visit our Custom Orders page to submit your request. We will connect you with the right artisan and provide a quote within 48 hours.

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure payment gateway with 256-bit SSL encryption.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. You can also log into your Artevaris account and check your order status at any time.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided production has not yet begun. For made-to-order items, cancellations after production starts may not be possible. Contact us immediately at support@artevaris.com if you need to make changes.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide to over 50 countries. All international orders include full tracking. Delivery times and costs vary by destination. See our full Shipping Information page for details.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on two factors: production time and transit time. Ready-to-ship items typically arrive within 5–14 business days internationally. Made-to-order items require additional production time (listed on each product page) plus transit. We always provide estimated delivery dates at checkout.

Are customs duties included?

Prices shown do not include import duties or taxes, which vary by country. These are the responsibility of the buyer and are collected by your country's customs authority. Most orders under standard thresholds clear without issue. See our shipping page for more information by region.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on all ready-to-ship items. Items must be returned in original condition and packaging. Made-to-order and personalized items are non-refundable unless defective. See our full Returns & Refund Policy.

What if my item arrives damaged?

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

How do I know the products are genuinely handmade?

We visit our artisan partners personally and document their workshops. Each product listing includes details about the maker, their location, and their technique. We stake our reputation on authenticity — if we ever find that a product does not meet our standards, it is immediately removed.

Can I sell my handmade products on Artevaris?
